wannarate.com exists because the UK deserves better than what it's currently getting from review platforms.
Fake five-star reviews bought in bulk. Businesses gaming algorithms to bury legitimate complaints. Platforms that quietly accept money from the companies they’re supposed to be objectively rating. Review sites that started with good intentions and ended up captured by the very industries they were supposed to hold accountable.
We decided to build something different.
What wannarate.com Is
wannarate.com is a UK business review platform that takes one position above all others: honesty is non-negotiable.
We cover six categories of UK business and service: restaurants and food, tradespeople and home services, healthcare and wellness, financial services, local businesses, and online services and apps. We publish real reviews from real UK customers — unfiltered, uncensored (within the law), and never manipulated to protect a paying client.
We also produce independent editorial content: best-of lists, buying guides, and honest assessments of the businesses and services that UK consumers spend their money on every day. Our editorial team says what it actually thinks. If something is brilliant, we’ll tell you. If it’s a waste of money, we’ll tell you that too.
